Something like a superhero?

Take a moment and assume yourself to be a superhero in disguise.

If it was me, I would be the most annoying thing in this world of mine.

I don’t believe in magic and yet work on the principles of “I wish this or that happens within a blink of an eye and no hard work”. Awkward right?

But, at the end of everything, I don’t want a superhero even though I love, I envy Ironman. I want something simple.

I want something just like this.

“I’ve been reading books of old

The legends and the myths

Achilles and his gold

Hercules and his gifts

Spiderman’s control

And Batman with his fists

And clearly I don’t see myself upon that list

But she said, where’d you wanna go?

How much you wanna risk?

I’m not looking for somebody

With some superhuman gifts

Some superhero

Some fairytale bliss

Just something I can turn to

Somebody I can kiss

I want something just like this
I’ve been reading books of old

The legends and the myths

The testaments they told

The moon and its eclipse

And Superman unrolls

A suit before he lifts

But I’m not the kind of person that it fits

She said, where’d you wanna go?

How much you wanna risk?

I’m not looking for somebody

With some superhuman gifts

Some superhero

Some fairytale bliss

Just something I can turn to

Somebody I can miss

I want something just like this”
